Urban Forests & Green Infrastructure for Health, Resilience & Sustainability Conference

The Orange County Citizens Foundation and CUNY Institute for Sustainable Cities will host a Conference, Growing Green Cities: Urban Forests & Green Infrastructure for Health, Resilience & Sustainability, on Wednesday, May 31, 2017.

The full day conference will cover the many benefits of urban forests and green infrastructure for human health and wellness, energy efficiency, community development and a range of social benefits relevant for small cities and other communities in the region. The program is designed to bring together science and design perspectives relevant for health and resilience, climate change preparedness, clean energy and greenhouse gas reduction goals, watershed and ecosystem restoration, and community revitalization and resilience.
