Josh is a Sustainability Planner at CDRPC where he provides technical assistance and outreach to communities engaged in NYSERDA’s Clean Energy Communities program and NY DEC’s Climate Smart Communities program.  He was previously the Sustainability Coordinator at Union College in Schenectady where he worked on all-things sustainability, including maintaining the college’s GHG inventories, EV charging infrastructure, and worked closely with student groups and programs to advance sustainability initiatives at the college.  Prior to that, he worked as the Recycling Coordinator for the City of Rochester, helping to expand their city-wide single-stream recycling program and increase participation.

He received his Master of Science in Sustainable Systems from the Golisano Institute for Sustainability at the Rochester Institute of Technology.  He received his B.S. in Biology from SUNY at Oswego.  He lives in Waterford with his wife and enjoys long walks and hikes exploring nature with their lovely maltese, Enzo.
