New Technical Assistance Program Available for Capital Region Communities

Program intended to fill gaps in local needs and enhance capacity to advance projects

(Albany, NY) The Capital District Transportation Committee (CDTC) and the Capital District Regional Planning Commission (CDRPC) are pleased to announce a collaborative technical assistance program aimed at helping area communities advance local projects that resonate with the New Visions 2040 Regional Transportation Plan. Eligible project categories include, but are not limited to, project support and development; data analysis and mapping; transportation planning and analysis; and local land use planning activities.

Municipalities within the designated planning area of the Capital District Transportation Committee in the counties of Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga, and Schenectady are eligible to apply. Examples of eligible projects may include: traffic modeling or transportation safety projects, grant writing assistance, community connectivity or trail development planning, and GIS mapping and analysis.
