Sustainable Saratoga and Skidmore College are organizing Saratoga’s first Sustainability Fair this Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm at Skidmore College. CDRPC will be exhibiting at this event, and giving a presentation on our new Clean Heating and Cooling Campaign for the Capital District. We will give an overview of the program, how heat pump technology works, and our plans to engage in workforce development with the assistance of this NYSERDA grant. The event’s keynote speaker is Aaron Mair, an environmentalist, scientist, and past president of the Sierra Club. More than 30 exhibitors, 19 workshop presentations, an EV car show, and a campus sustainability tour; this diverse sustainability fair will have something for everyone.
