CDRPC Local Government Workshop Webinar: Building a Walkable & Accessible Capital Region for All

This session will provide an overview of the Capital District Transportation Committee’s (CDTC) long-range plan, New Visions 2050, recommendations for building more walkable communities and why this is important for creating a more equitable, healthy, accessible, and quality region. The overview will identify specific strategies identified in New Visions 2050 and how CDTC is working with local governments to implement them.
Planning board and zoning board of appeals members are required by state statute to obtain four hours of training a year. Town, village and city zoning board of appeals and planning board members, as well as county planning board members must receive training. This webinar series was developed to provided for participant to obtain credits necessary for their planning and zoning board service. Municipalities have a wide latitude in defining what training is acceptable. Please provide this email to the chair of your local planning or zoning board and/or your local clerk for proof of attendance and application for the one hour of required credits.
